Academy Award NOMINATOR director, Joe Wright again launched a new film. This time, Wright created a film that's inspired from a real story, Nathaniel Ayers, a very good violin player.

Despite having a good ability of playing violin, Ayers that is starred by Jamie Foxx has a psychiatric illness. And after studied at Juilliard music school for two years, Ayers chose life as a drifter.

Fortunately, Ayers met with Steve Lopez (Robert Downey, Jr.). A journalist who has a career problem. Lopez saw that Ayers is a musician who has extraordinary talent.

This film recounts how Lopez tried to overcome the problems of Ayers, a reliable musician who has psychiatric problems.
